Programme Description
General and specific objectives
To allow young researchers and post-graduate students to come to Finland for research or teaching purposes. The prerequisite for applying is that the visiting researcher must have established contacts with the Finnish host university. The Finnish university department wishing to host him or her applies to CIMO for the grant.
 
Priority actions
The CIMO Fellowships programme is open to young researchers post Masters, but not at a doctorate level - open to all countries in all academic fields.
 
Management and coordination
The prerequisite for applying is that the visiting researcher must have established contacts with the Finnish host university. The Finnish university department wishing to host him or her applies to CIMO for the grant, which co-ordinates the whole grant programme.
