Programme Description
General and specific objectives
This programme for postgraduate studies supports promising Taiwanese graduates and young professionals intending to pursue postgraduate degree programmes at Dutch universities
 
Priority actions
The scholarship gives Taiwanese students the opportunity to develop their skills at Dutch universities and aims to forge lasting ties between the Netherlands and Taiwan
 
Management and coordination
The Netherlands Education Support Office Taipei (Neso Taipei): (permanent basis)
Pre-application assessment and qualification screening for scholarship eligibility (based on each applicant’s chosen field and school)
Submits the complete application to each scholarship review committee
The review committee can consist of several universities, businesses and the NTIO (The Netherlands Trade and Investment Office)

 
Expected or achieved outputs, outcomes and impacts
The scholarship scheme should help to forge the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial partnership between the Netherlands and successful scholarship holders. Scholars have significant opportunities to network and will be invited to high-level functions both during the term of their scholarship and on their return to Taiwan
