Programme Description
General and specific objectives
To develop and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture, education and science
Priority actions
- The Parties shall encourage the development of contacts in the field of education, particularly between universities and other institutes of higher education including exchange visits by administrators, scientists, students and teachers as well as the exchange of textbooks, curricula and methodological and other materials.
- The Parties shall examine the possibility of mutual recognition of equivalence of certificates of education as well as of academic degrees and titles with a view to concluding an agreement to this end.
- The Parties shall endeavour to develop scientific relations, in particular through the exchange of study and lecture visits by scientists as well as of scientific literature and publications.
- The Parties shall encourage the study of the language, culture and history of each other’s country.
