Programme Description
General and specific objectives
- Encourage the establishment of direct contacts and cooperation between education and research institutions;
- Encourage the exchange of information on education systems, reforms and achievements;
- Provide for the support of academic exchange (student, teacher, researcher exchange);
- Promote learning and teaching of the language of the partner state;
- Promote joint research and teaching activities, e.g. participation in international forums held in the partner country, etc.

Support for the exchange of students in tertiary education, researchers and teachers of higher education institutions
 
Management and coordination
The Ministry of Education and Science is in charge of initiating and drafting intergovernmental and interministerial agreements on cooperation in the field of education and research. Implementation of these agreements is entrusted to the Education Exchanges Support Foundation.

Developed cooperation between education and research institutions, joint research and teaching initiatives, better understanding between different nations, enhancement of the quality of studies and research, promotion of each nations language and culture in the other state
