Programme Description
General and specific objectives
The programme involves bilateral cooperation of Germany and Israel (Jewish and Arab population) in vocational education and training (VET). It aims to enhance the further development of VET in common subjects as well as supporting the VET reform process.
 
Priority actions
- Conferences, workshops and study tours on VET topics of common interest (e.g. initial and further training in water managmenent and technoloy, green technologies: initial and further training in the field of solar and wind energy, entrepreneurship as subject in VET)
- Long-term projects on VET topics of common interest (e.g. IT training, mechatronics, renewable energies, microtechnology; European qualifications framework): Project teams of about 5 experts from each country work together for a period of up to two years in order to develop a joint product to be subsequently applied afterwards in both countries.

 
Management and coordination
Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour (MOITAL).
InWEnt is responsible for the overall project management.
